True People Search Removal: Submit an Opt-Out Request to the Website

Are you wondering about True People Search removal? This article walks you through the opt-out process to remove your public records from the people search site.

TruePeopleSearch is a data broker website that lets you look up individuals based on their full name, phone number, address or email address. You can also browse listings by common last names.

You can use the people search website for free to find the following information:

  • Address history
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Friends and family members
  • Business associates
  • Property information

According to the website, TruePeopleSearch has “updated records on nearly every single adult living in the [United States].” The site also says that you’re not required to sign up in order to use it.

How Does TruePeopleSearch Work?

After searching for a person on TruePeopleSearch, you’ll instantly get a report with any information the database has on them.

All of your searches are private. Since you don’t have to create an account or log in to use the service, your search history won’t be accessible to others.

In addition to using the TruePeopleSearch website, there’s also an app you can download from the Google Play Store for Android phones.

Third-party data brokers can publicize far too much of your private information. Call us at 941-259-4554 to learn more about protecting your personal data.

Why Are People Search Sites Used?

Digital illustration of glowing human figures connected by blue lines and circles on a dark background, representing a futuristic network, similar to how to deep search someone in an interconnected virtual community.

There are a few reasons why someone may use TruePeopleSearch:

Figure Out Who’s Calling From Unrecognized Phone Numbers

With all of the spam calls that so many of us get on a daily basis, TruePeopleSearch’s reverse phone lookup is a huge help. When you need to know who’s calling you, enter the number into the phone lookup tool to find their name, address, and more.

Look Up Property Deeds and Other Information

Do you have your eye on a home that’s for sale? Or maybe you want to know who lived in your house before you bought it. With the address lookup tool, you can get property information, property deeds, contact information for current homeowners or occupants, and more. This is especially useful to real estate investors who want to make an offer.

Get Contact and Personal Info About Someone From Your Past

People search sites like TruePeopleSearch make it possible to connect with long-lost family members, friends from the past and even old flames. Armed with contact information, location information and more, you can determine how to connect with the person you’ve been thinking about.

The TruePeopleSearch Removal Process: How to Opt Out

In this section, we’ll walk you through the steps of submitting a removal request to TruePeopleSearch.

Step 1: Navigate to the opt-out request page

To find the TruePeopleSearch removal page, start on the website’s home page, which you can go to here.

Scroll to the bottom of the page until you find the footer section. Click the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Go to the removal request form

Scroll down the page a bit until you find the second header, which says “How to Opt Out.” Click the Opt-Out Form link.

Step 3: Fill in the opt-out request form to begin removal of your personal information

The removal request form has a few sections to fill out:

  • In the “Exercise my rights as a” drop-down menu, select the option that says The subject of the request if you’re removing your own information. Otherwise, select the option that says you’re an authorized agent.
  • Fill in your first and last name.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Click the authorization and captcha check boxes.

Click the Send Request button when you’re ready.

Step 4: Check your email

Check your inbox for the same email address you provided on the opt-out request form. Make sure to do this within 24 hours of when it’s sent. Otherwise, you’ll need to start the record removal request process over.

Step 5: Fill out the form to request removal of your personal information

You’ll need to fill out another opt-out request form to move forward with the removal process.

Start with the “Personal Information” section. You’ll enter the following info:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth

You can also include your middle name and phone number, but these sections are not required. However, including this additional personal information could make it easier for TruePeopleSearch to find and remove your public records.

When entering your information, don’t include special characters, such as a period. For example, if your name is “John Doe, Jr.,” you would write “Doe Jr” in the “Last Name” field without any punctuation.

Next, fill out the “Address Information” section, which includes:

  • Street address
  • City
  • State
  • Zip code

While this section says that you only have to complete it if you didn’t fill in your birth date, you won’t be able to submit the form without entering your address.

When you’re done, click the check box that verifies the information you provided is accurate. Then, click the captcha box, followed by the Submit Request button.

A form section with instructions to review and confirm information, a checkbox to certify accuracy, a captcha box labeled “I am human,” and a blue “Submit Request” button at the bottom. Red labels number each section.

Step 6: Wait for the confirmation page

Within a few seconds, you’ll be redirected to a confirmation page. This page says that you’ve completed the opt-out process.

TruePeopleSearch will take a few days — up to three, according to their website — to find your personal information in the database and remove it.

If you provided inaccurate or incomplete information when filling out the removal request form, it’s possible that your public records will stay on the site. In that case, you’ll need to complete the opt-out process again, making sure to provide the most thorough and truthful personal information possible.
